Professional Biography

Donn Ledwick founded Professional Search Associates (PSA) in November 1988 as a way for client-companies to quickly fill engineering openings with individuals who work or have worked for companies in the same specific market segment. Operations were based in Newport Beach, California focused primarily on the Aerospace & Defense industry. PSA moved offices to San Jose in May 1991 to work in the Silicon Valley with firms from the Electronic Design Automation (EDA) and Semiconductor industries. Previous to starting PSA, Mr. Ledwick was a Partner with Aerospace Staffing, Inc. in Huntington Beach, California. As a Founding Partner, Mr. Ledwick guided the entire recruiting staff in targeting all search assignments. ASI was highly successful in recruiting engineers for defense contractors. Prior to joining ASI, Mr. Ledwick was Vice President with Professional Recruiting Consultants Company (PRCC) in Newport Beach, a large agency with over 25 recruiters on staff. Mr. Ledwick ran the PRCC's business unit for recruiting electronic systems engineers and hardware designers for aerospace and defense clientele. Prior to Mr. Ledwick's recruiting career, he was board-level high-density electronic packaging & drafting and CAD Department Manager with Kaiser Electronics in San Jose, California. Before joining Kaiser Electronics, Mr. Ledwick was CAD Services Manager with GTE Government Systems (formerly Sylvania) in Mountain View, California.

Personal Biography

Donn Ledwick was born in San Francisco, and he has made California his home for his entire life. After living in Newport Beach and San Jose, Donn moved to Saint Helena, California in beautiful Napa Valley. Donn has a son and daughter, both now grown and residing in California. Some of Donn's interests include art and wine collecting, gourmet cooking, hot-rod cars, travel, music, and road and mountain biking.
